Introduction

The APPLY german joint project on Lisp has been funded for three years (1991-1994) by the German Ministry of Research an Technology. The major goal is to increase the performance - runtime and storage efficiency, portability, and integrateability - of Lisp applications. As a result, CLiCC - The Common Lisp to C Compiler - is available (see below).
