sendmail 8.11.2 available

sendmail 8.11.2 is available (2000-12-29).

sendmail 8.11.1 available

sendmail 8.11.1 is available (2000-09-27).

sendmail 8.11.0 available with STARTTLS support

sendmail 8.11.0 is available (2000-07-19). It supports STARTTLS and the security layer in SMTP AUTH.

sendmail 8.10.2 available

sendmail 8.10.2 is available (2000-06-07). This release provides a workaround for a Linux kernel bug in versions up to 2.2.15.

sendmail 8.10.1 available

sendmail 8.10.1 is available (2000-04-07). This release fixes an information leakage problem if sendmail is configured to perform SMTP AUTH as client as well as the AIX ld security problem.

sendmail 8.10.0 available

sendmail 8.10.0 is available (2000-03-07). I've listed some new features of sendmail 8.10, all the rest can be found in the RELEASE_NOTES. Despite the long beta test, two problems have been found after release.

sendmail with encryption

Sendmail, Inc, offers a sendmail version with STARTTLS support.

sendmail 8.10: Preview

Gregory Neil Shapiro gave two talks about the new features of sendmail 8.10. A paper is available in PostScript and PDF format.

sendmail 8.9.3 available

sendmail 8.9.3 is available (1999-02-04), The only major change since 8.9.2 is a fix for the headers denial of service attack posted to BugTraq. See the RELEASE_NOTES for changes since 8.9.2.
