• Project coordination of the Kiel Team for the Robotic-Music-Contest ARTEMIS-Orchestra.
• Lead of the model-based development of distributed time-triggered architectures at our model-railway demonstrator.

My research interest are mainly the following areas

•   model-based system design
•   graphical model editors
•   Eclipse based Java technologies
•   distributed realtime systems, e.g. time-triggered architectures

• Basketball (absolutely rookie: attended beginners course at university last season)
• Snowboarding
• Sailing (something you should know living in Kiel. Well, I do not yet, but plan to do the University sailing courses in spring 09)
• Cooking, learned from my mum, she's best gourmet around :-), or american style fast food occasionally, all at its time
• Taking a good drive with my Smart Cabriolet, *wroom*
• Nature and animals. Although due to flat restrictions we have only two land turtles and a small aquarium, *blub*
